The landslide, triggered by heavy rains, hit Sindhupalchowk district after the Sunkoshi river, which flows across the border into Bihar(India) as the Kosi river, was blocked creating an artificial lake near Nepal-Tibet border.
According to official reports released by Nepal government 123 people missing in the country's worst landslide in over a decade, taking the death toll from the disaster to 156, as the search for the bodies buried under the debris was called off.Only 33 bodies have been recovered.
The families of the each of those killed would be given 40,000 rupees ($410) as immediate relief officials announced.
There are also measure taken up by Army to clear roads.
